The 2016 Walter's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon by Bremerton is a powerful yet elegant wine. It is showing gorgeous varietal notes of blackberry, bramble and earth, complemented by subtle influences of chocolate and savoury nuances. The wine is supported by a fine, defining, elegant tannin structure with spice and complexity from the careful use of new French oak. Walter's Reserve is very secretive as it takes its time to reveal itself, a powerful wine that will not only evolve in the glass but will reward you with patience in the cellar.

Cabernet works with all varieties of red meat — grilled steak, roast pork etc, whilst more elegant versions are great with roasted vegetables, especially things like capsicum, spinach and eggplant. You can never go wrong with peppercorn sauce too!
