Such a brilliant wine! Very bright and clean, with fragrant aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus and crushed rocks. A lovely balance between richness and freshness. The texture is round and creamy, but finishes with a flourish of acidity that balances things wonderfully.

A perfect salad-pairing wine for a light lunch. It’s also a beautiful pairing for shrimp, especially when prepared simply with a brush of garlic oil and a squeeze of lemon. Godello really likes being matched up with citrus and chicken dishes, too, and can even handle a bit of chilli spice, such as found in Chinese Szechuan dishes and light tofu Thai noodle classics.
