The name ‘Torre Solar’ is inspired by the Solar Tower that decorates the outskirts of the winemaking town of Manzanares in La Mancha. The wines come from selected vineyard sites and are vinified separately. The whites see a small amount of skin contact, partial oak fermentation and extended lees contact to give weight texture and savoury notes. For the Torre Solar Tempranillo Petit Verdot, free run wine is drained off after extended post-fermentation maceration and spends up to nine months in oak.
