Impenetrable pitch black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. A pronounced mixture of black and morello cherries greet the nostrils followed by some liquorice, vanillin cedar, earthy graphite and peppered dried herbs. Rich spicy black plum, subtle prune and liquorice flavours mix with vanillin cedar, earthy graphite, black olive and leather characters. Bright acidity and a firm chewy tannin structure impart some lingering grip onto the finish.

This wine pairs well with BBQ marinated pork ribs, beef and vegetable skewers and T-bone steaks.
