Rawson's Retreat Collection Series Cabernet Sauvignon
This range of wines were affectionately named after our founder’s family cottage which he built in 1845, one year after he planted his first vines on his property in Magill. Colour: Deep reds with bright vibrant hues. Nose: Rich concentrated dark fruits jump from the glass and excite the senses. Dark chocolate and mint come to the fore as the wine opens in the glass. Palate: Concentrated dark fruits wrap around the instance the wine enters the mouth. Dark plum, rich chocolate and liquorice stick dance across the tongue followed by savoury characters of black olives. Finally subtle spices are released along with soft silky smooth tannins to complete the palate. A generous wine depicting typical Cabernet varietal characters. Soft and rounded but with exceptional length.
