This is a gorgeous medium-purple coloured wine, exuding aromas of black cherries, earth and spice along mineral notes. The palate is dominated by red flowery fruit flavours along with subtle slate-like minerality. Complemented by fine tannins, it eventually culminates in a lingering finale.

This varietal can best be enjoyed with grilled lamb, barbecued lamb ribs or beef stew.
