Colour: Deep, inky purple with a near-black core and a narrow violet rim.

Aroma: Explosive and complex nose with layers of blackcurrant, cassis, and blackberry, interwoven with notes of dark chocolate, eucalyptus, violets, and hints of exotic spices

Palate:  Powerful and structured with dense, mouth-coating tannins. Rich flavours of ripe black fruits, licorice, and spice, balanced by vibrant acidity. A long, intense finish with lingering notes of dark fruit and cocoa.

Cellaring: Excellent aging potential. Will continue to develop in bottle over the next 30–50 years or more. Ideally, drink from 2030 onward for peak expression, though it can be enjoyed earlier with decanting.
